2. Tom's Town Distilling Company

Tom's Town Distilling Co. is named after Tom Pendergast, one of the country's most corrupt political bosses. Pendergast was originally a saloon keeper and founder of a wholesale liquor company and under his leadership, Kansas City ignored the Prohibition and his one reasoning was, "People are thirsty." And to this day, people are still "thirsty" and when you need a drink, you can always stop into Tom's Town Distilling Co.

You can take a distillery tour in person or virtually! On the tour you will see how their spirits are made, learn the history behind Tom's Town and even taste some samples! The distillery also has food in house such as charcuterie boards, sandwiches, and deviled eggs. When visiting, we recommend trying the Pendergast's Royal Gold Bourbon or Tom's Town Double Grain Vodka in any of your cocktails.
